WE LOVE LOVELOCKS

Last week, our wondeful venue, Lovelocks, was broken into. A window was smashed and an iPad was stolen. Lovelocks is the centre of queer community for so many of us and we know many of us will feel this is an attack on our friends who run it and our community as well as a business.

Lovelocks is the home of BoardGaymes and other communities who use it as a hub for meetings and events. It is home not just for queer folks, but for migrants and refugees too, and various other left-wing and liberation groups across Liverpool. 

All the staff work so hard to provide this safe, cosy, welcoming space for us. We've created this fundraiser to give back to a group who have been our allies and friends. Let's support the folks who have been some of our greatest supporters. 

For purposes of clarity: Lovelocks do have insurance which will cover the damage and theft. This fundraiser is to give them back something a bit extra to demonstrate our love and support for them.
