About
This Retreat was created in response to the longing from Australian and New Zealand NVC trainers to come together in person and enjoy being together as a community.
This is a co-creative gathering where workshops are led by participants. It will be a mixture of pre-planned and open space-generated workshops, activites, and spontaneous adventures and fun.

The Venue
The Bribie Island Retreat and Recreaction Centre in South East Queensland was selected for its community-oriented layout, beautiful nature setting, accessibility to major transport hubs, and affordable pricing. The venue features 7 modern cabins (each with a bathroom and beds for up to 8 people), a spacious 200 person audotorium/conference hall/dining hall, a commercial kitchen, a separate amenities block with toilets and six showers, and tent camp sites. You can see a video of the venue here and the website here.
Accommodation options
1. Cabins: Bed in a dormitory-style 4-person* cabin with ensuite (includes bedding and towel). (*Please note that we have arranged to have 4 people per cabin rather than 8 as previously advertised. Each person gets a bed in the lower-level of a bunk bed. The top bunk will remain empty unless we need the extra bed capacity and people are willing to sleep up top!)
2. Private glamping (includes large tent, airbed, bedding, towel, lamp, and other small luxuries for your comfort). We aim to provide a standing-height tent similar to the Oztrail Tasman 4V Dome Tent.
3. BYO tent and camping gear. (Bedding and linen can be supplied for a small fee.)
