The Communications, Engagement and Outreach Circle (Comms & Outreach Circle) is actively involved in bringing attention to the permaculture movement through effective and impactful communication.
What we do
The Comms & Outreach circle works with groups inside the Colab and within the wider permaculture community, using effective and impactful communication to enhance our Coherence and Visibility in order to bring attention and understanding to our work and impact on the world.
We aim
– to increase internal coherence of the colab through effective communication
– to support CoLab projects to become more visible through effective communication
– to make the CoLab and the work of the CoLab more visible within the permaculture movement
– to make the permaculture movement as a whole more visible to the world
This circle is also a micro-enterprise.

Meet The Team
Siobhan Vida Ashmole
Vida has a background in ethical digital marketing for regenerative enterprises, website design, content creation and communications strategy. She has designed professionally for publications and research and enjoys communicating complex concepts with elegant visuals.
Hans Ryding
Hans is a professional permaculture designer with over a decade of practical experience, including previously running local and national permaculture associations. Hans has a background in social work (with a focus on anti-oppressive and diversity practice), organizational studies and communication.
Charlie Wilson
Charlie has experience as a copywriter and editor for Byteopolis blog agency, The Reality Check newsletter, and Mahasiddha Yoga. He has been working as a copywriter for the CoLab since 2022. He has experience with social media marketing.
Aimee Fenech
Aimee is an MBA graduate specialising in digital businesses, with decades of experience in project management and remote team coordination. A variety of experience in newsletter design and curation, mailing list management and cross-network collaboration. Aimee has also written extensively in blogs on permaculture topics and in the ethical digital domain.
