Community Care Fund

The Community Care Fund offers immediate financial support to individuals and communities in need of emergency mental health care, trauma recovery, and other critical well-being services. This fund is designed to provide access to therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, and holistic healing practices for those who have experienced violence, discrimination, or other traumatic events. Your contribution helps ensure that social changemakers and community members receive the care they need to heal, recover, and continue their work toward a more just and compassionate society.

Our current goal is to raise money to sponsor a member of our community passionate about Mental Health to become an accredited Mental Health First Aid® (MHFA) trainer. Once trained, they will be able to run MHFA trainings for members of our community (trained members will receive digital Certificate of Accreditation in MHFA, which is valid for 3 years) to strengthen the capacity for our community to support others and apply mental health first aid.

The Standard Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training costs $5000 to become certified- we are hoping to raise the $5000 for a member of our community (who has been marginalised or has lived experience of mental health crises) to support them with the opportunity to pursue a potential career in the mental health space, generate additional income, and offer affordable and accessible MHFA trainings to our community of changemakers.
