Hello neighbors On December 21st, we will be hosting a Christmas party at Maria Hernandez Park. We have searched and knocked on many doors looking for an indoor space for our event, but it has become impossible. We will brave the temperatures and the weather all for our community. We want to deliver 100 toys for our children and hot food, candy, cakes for everyone, among other things. Most of our children are asylum seekers from shelters across the city. We have a registration list to ensure that each child gets a toy. Our goal is to make it even more special by offering a hearty home-cooked meal for families to take to their shelters, since they do not have access to a kitchen.
