In 2023 we accomplished talking to each other more in different ways and having many more group meetings. Last year was definitely a year of rest. So this was great.

We only spent $300 out of our emergency fund since our work this year didn’t require any money to keep going.

This year, we faced challenges with finding a circlekeeper who could meet our group’s needs for a restorative justice process–primarily finding someone willing to hold the space virtually. We also experienced some challenges with scheduling given the significant life changes our core members faced this year. Our collective has learned to be patient with our process & move at a pace that works for us. We grew in our appreciation for the culture of support, collaboration, & mutual respect that we have built over the years. Through it all, we remained committed to our goals of restoring our relationships, repairing any harm & determining our direction moving forward.

Our plans for 2024 are to regroup and heal from challenges that arose during the earlier years of the pandemic, and to pursue an updated vision that we are currently developing through deep internal work.
