What happened in April?
Published on May 2, 2022 by Lucie Anglade
Hello!
During April, several versions have been released π.
First release is WeasyPrint v54.3, which adds support for absolute elements in footnotes and fixes an issue with discarded text-align values.
This is the last release for a 54.x version.
cssselect 0.6.0 has been released and brings performance improvements.
β οΈ If you directly use cssselect, iter_ancestors and iter_previous_siblings methods have been deprecated.
And finally, a new beta for WeasyPrint has been released!
In this version, performance and column layout management have been improved. To know more about the changes in this version, you can read our blog article.
Please have a try to this beta and report the bugs you may find π!
We plan to release v55 in a few days if nothing goes wrong.
We also closed the survey about the future of CairoSVG. Weβll publish the results soon!
Thatβs all for this month!
Thanks for supporting us π
