What Happened in April?
Published on April 30, 2024 by Lucie Anglade

Hello!

April was full of releases. tinycss2, Pyphen, pydyf and WeasyPrint have new versions πŸŽ‰

Basque dictionary has been added into Pyphen 0.15.0. Catalan and Hungarian dictionaries have been updated.
Pyphen no longer supports Python 3.7 and now supports Python 3.12.

pydyf v0.10.0 can add a standard compliant default PDF identifier into documents.

tinycss2 v1.3.0 now handles CSS nesting syntax πŸ‘€.

Last but not least, WeasyPrint v62.0 has been released.
As you may have guessed, WeasyPrint now supports CSS nesting and, above all, thanks to the financial support of a nice anonymous company, Grid layout 🎊!

If you want to know more about this new WeasyPrint version, you can have a look at our last article πŸ—žοΈ.

And to finish this monthly news, we’ll be giving a talk about Open Source and money at JDLL in Lyon on May 26.
So, if you’re around Lyon (France) on this day, don’t hesitate to come and say hi πŸ˜„.

That’s all for this month!

Thanks for supporting us πŸ’œ
