What happened in August?
Published on September 1, 2021 by Lucie Anglade
Hello!
August was kind of a release party. Both WeasyPrint and pydyf got, not one, but two releases! ๐
WeasyPrint 53.1 and 53.2 fix some crashes releated to SVG and leaders.
The size of documents containing images has also been reduced.
For pydyf, versions 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 fix string encoding.
It can now be used from everywhere, including Jupyter notebooks.
We also worked on a small rework of WeasyPrint website.
Itโs now a one-page site, but still contains all the information needed, donโt worry ๐.
Moreover, we created a new GitHub repository with WeasyPrint samples.
In this repository, youโll find the already existing samples, but also new ones!
These new samples have been created with the help of Madcats, a French creative studio ๐.
Thatโs all for August!
Thanks for supporting us ๐
