[RFC] Team Lead roles in Discord

• Topic in Channel specifying who the Team Lead is

[RFC] Open all dev. channels to public access

• Follows a more open model, similar to how other projects do it
• Spam can be combatted by being strict and enforcing rules
• Slowmode for non-contributors(?)
• Suggestions:
  • We currently have a suggestions channel
  • Suggestions would be encouraged to be opened as **[FEATURE]** issues on respective repositories

If repository is unsure, it could be opened on the `.github` repository

• Suggestions could also be given in respective team chats

• RFCs will be acted upon if a majority of Core Team & Team Leads approve
• Formal By-Laws ***needed.***

  • Formal rules on handling RFCs
  • Formal rules deciding what the Project Lead role does, and any terms (?)

Potential Team Restructure (For Another Day)

• Core Team members != Team Leads
• Team Leads report to Core Team
• Core Team can usurp Team Leads
• Team Lead would serve more-so as an overseeing role
• If we go through this change, it would not be immediate. We would need to find people to potentially replace the leads of smaller teams.

Antiz's Packaging Points

• TheEvilSkeleton asked us if we can ship a precompiled version of `ame` (`ame-bin`) in the AUR
• We'd need to add build artifacts to an existing workflow to do this
• We could do this for multiple architectures
• Package names don't follow binary names, could lead to confusion when using tools like `man` in the future.
• Could be opened as an RFC

Packaging (Distribution?)

• Move PKGBUILDs to new Organisation
• Protect `main` branch on all PKGBUILDs
• Grant Antiz keys to the ~~Evil Hideout~~ build server
• We have some stale PKGBUILDs
