first thank you so much for your support throughout te years. Our projects and tech wouldn't be where they are without you. So, thank you a lot.

I am writing you to inform you that Open Collective Foundation that has been our fiscial sponsor for the past few years is sadly closing its doors (Open collective app stays, but the foundation will be closed). This is the reason your recurrent donations to the ecosystem might be paused for a while, at least until we find a new fiscial sponsor.

We thank you for your patience and will let you know once we transition to the new fiscial sponsor, hopefully within the Open Collective app, if that will be possible. The thing is dat ecosystem has to be hosted by a 501c3 organization for legal reasons and although there are few offering the service via Open Collective, they still differ in terms of costs, which projects they are accepting, are they even accepting new members etc.

All in all, we are working on it and just wanted to keep you up to date!
