I'm a long-time advocate of open source communities in many corners of society. My day job is with Red Hat directing their open source program office. I'm on the OSI board, the DemocracyLab board, and the advisory board for the Open Source Elections Technology (OSET) Foundation. Keeping open source communities and the open source ecosystem healthy is important to me.
