DeepMay 2026 Camp Fund

PROJECT
Part of: DeepMay
Fiscal Host: Raft Foundation

This year student tuition will be sliding scale "pay what you can." We are raising money to offset the cost of running camp with the new payment model.

About

Founded in early 2019, DeepMay is an alternative school dedicated to providing organizers with the skills they need to build technical autonomy outside big tech and the surveillance state. To learn more about our project, visit our website: https://deepmay.net/

We are implementing a sliding scale "pay what you can" tuition model in order to embody one of the project's core values: accessibility to education for all. Donations into the camp fund will effectively provide scholarships for students who cannot pay the full dollar amount it takes us to run our 10-day camp. It costs approximately $400 per student to run camp each year. This includes the cost of food, hosting, equipment, and a modest $1,000 stipend for track instructors. Donated funds will be used to offset the cost of running camp. Any funds received from tuition + donations that exceed the total cost of running the 2026 camp will rollover to cover the next camp's costs.
