Hello glorious contributors and welcome to our first update!

This post is to make sure we remain open and transparent to our contributors on claims the project makes.

Some of the claims are titled "Import Fees", and are a result of manufacturers sending prototype or pre release hardware to ELRS Developers for testing.  Something users are well aware of and have come to expect.  Until recently these claims have been processed and paid seamlessly by OC accountants... yes we have independent accounts looking over us!

An issue we run into is that these samples do not have a purchase invoice, and hence OC does not like to approve the Import Fees claim.  Previous attempts to claim them as a Invoice (e.g. as a wage for time worked on the project) which do not require a purchase invoice have not been accepted (#149405).  BUT recently we have been suggested to go back to this method (Receipt #157745).

Feels a little dodgy and not completely transparent for accounting.  But if you start to see small  Invoice amounts (wage) for time spent on the project this is why.
