Hello to our supporters, 

We’re writing to sadly inform you all about a change in situation regarding our financial sponsor. Unfortunately, the platform we have been using to host our funds, Open Collective, will be dissolving soon. As a result, we can no longer take donations on the platform after March 15. We are currently in the process of looking for a new financial host. In the near term, we are considering a temporary transition to Venmo or PayPal. However, since both would require linking the funds to a single bank account, neither serve as an ideal long-term solution. If you have any suggestions for a financial platform or organization that would support the community fridge’s long-term needs, please let us know.

In the meantime, we would like to ask that anyone who wants to donate to the fridge please do so in the form of visa gift cards or, specifically gift cards for Daily Table .sent to our host, The Democracy Center at 45 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge. Please let us know if you’re planning on doing so. Additionally, if you would like to be notified when we identify a long-term solution, please reply to this email so we can keep in touch.
