About
FiveforFive exists to make it easier for trans women and transfeminine people based in the UK to access money when they need it, without having to crowdfund, justify their circumstances or find an individual donor.
We build a collective pot of money from small, regular contributions and distribute it directly to people for whatever they need it for: surgery, hormones, bills, everyday essentials, or simply something that makes life a little better. We believe in solidarity, trust, love for our sisters, autonomy, generosity of spirit and dignity. We believe in the (crudely adapted) mantra of ‘a trans woman must have bread, but she must have roses, too’ - the things we need to survive, and the things that make life worth living.

- Home - where all incoming payments sit
- Earmarked - where all outward payments to trans women and transfems are processed
- Earmarked - FFFOC - where are payments to trans women and transfems of colour are processed (in order that specific funds are ringfenced for specific causes)
- Rainy day/reserves/admin - everything we need to spend internally to keep FiveforFive alive and thriving
- Carry-forward - the amount we have left (from a previous, large donation) specifically for more fallow months, to fill any gaps that might arise - this budget is imagined to dwindle and then not exist within 2026-27
