Thanks to the awesome work of our community, react-popper v2 has been released, with support for Popper v2.

The API is still pretty much the same, with some small changes to adapt to the new Popper 2 API (modifiers structure, and virtual elements).

Next step will involve the release of a React Hooks based API, that should be released as a feature release on the [email protected] branch
