Open collective Europe Requesting for transport funding to attend climate change and environmental conservation mentorship for a period of eight weeks in Nairobi From 11 August 2024- 29th September 2024 OVERVIEW Am Newton saisi from Kenya climate change activist, environmentalist and Sustainable Development Goals advocator volunteering with Greenpeace Africa, Friday For Future Calendar Writing and am a student of land survey planning and use final year. I was chosen to attend climate change and environmental conservation mentorship organised by young Catholic environmental network Kenya to attend the mentorship course which will take 8 consecutive weeks. I have missed two already due to transport issues, however am remaining with one last chance to attend next or be denied the chance. Am therefore humbly requesting for for your assistance to attend the mentorship program. The total cost for travelling and accommodation for the all course 100 euros. The knowledge gained through the mentorship will not only me but also my peers In the university and our community led organisations on mitigation and adaptation and resilience measures, skills and networking. Thank you so much for your assistance GOALS Gain more experience knowledge and skills on climate justice and peace initiatives And policy making processes Networking with like mind activist since climate action requires our collective responsibility. ( triple multilateral planetary crisis) Building a resilience and adaptable community by increasing awareness on climate action environmental conservation and sustainable development Goals through best strategies implementation.

How do I get paid from a Collective?
Submit an expense and provide your payment information.
How are expenses approved?
Collective admins are notified when an expense is submitted, and they can approve or reject it.
Is my private data made public?
No. Only the expense amount and description are public. Attachments, payment info, emails and addresses are only visible to you and the admins.
When will I get paid?
Payments are processed by the Collective's Fiscal Host, the organization that hold funds on their behalf. Many Fiscal Hosts pay expenses weekly, but each one is different.
Why do you need my legal name?
The display name is public and the legal name is private, appearing on receipts, invoices, and other official documentation used for tax and accounting purposes.
