Thanks for all the continuous support for Full Bath! Appreciate the boosts, shares, and the supplies provided thus far. Today we did another drop of physical goods!

Today we donated 140 diapers, 4 boxes of facial tissues, soap, hand lotion, bandaids, and more to the Love Fridge located in the West Lawn neighborhood (66th and Pulaski).

The Love Fridge is a Chicago-based initiative created to nourish communities through mutual aid by offering solutions to food scarcity and food waste. Powered by kindness, generosity, and most importantly, love, Love Fridge firmly believes that feeding oneself is not a privilege, but a right. With food insecurity at an all-time high, keeping communities fed is now more important than ever. Volunteers come from all over Chicago, working within their own neighborhoods to collaborate with like-minded partners to place community refrigerators across the city. A lot of these Fridges they’ve set up are accompanied by pantries, where dry goods and other home/personal supplies are stored.

As our communities are struggling for basic needs, items such as menstrual care stuff, soap, toilet paper are becoming more highly sought after within these pantries. We want to try and fill that gap where we can this month.

We’ve also been able to deliver diapers and pull ups to a family in the Portage Park neighborhood.
