Natural Bodies - All Bodies

On this Intersex Awareness Day, we celebrate and stand with the intersex community, particularly intersex refugees and asylum seekers who face compounded challenges in their journey to safety.Ā
Intersex people make up nearly 1.7% of the global population - that's as common as being with red hair. Yet many face discrimination, unnecessary medical procedures without consent or reason, and barriers to accessing appropriate healthcare and documentation.
We, here at FUR/HELP, are committed to providing safe spaces, culturally competent support, and advocacy for intersex refugees. Everyone deserves the right to live authentically, fearless, and have access to the care they require.
Ā
Join us in creating a world where all intersex people can thrive, regardless of where they come from or where they seek safety.
Being intersex is natural - not a flaw! šš
