FUNDRAISER UPDATE!!
Published on May 12, 2022 by Kylie
WHEW. I can't believe in only three days, you all lent me OVER $20,000 TO FINISH MY HOUSE. This removes SO many barriers for me as I'm dealing with loan/bank stuff for dragging it on too long because of construction and financial delays.
Obviously, with my current expenses I hope to be spend around $13,000 to finish the house, and so will be returning contributions over what I need the second I get my Certificate of Occupancy. And then when I sell my second property in the coming future, everyone else's contributions will be returned and then some! To all the generous family and friends who've told me to keep it, not so fast. It's important for me to return all of it, but I will also be including some housing mutual aid groups if you'd like your investment in affordable housing to live on.
I'll be posting updates here on construction progress, celebrations, obstacles, and next steps. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AGAIN!
