Ghostlane is on Open Collective
Published on October 19, 2026 by RomanP

Ghostlane and olcRTC now have a collective, hosted by Open Source Collective since 9 October.

Ghostlane is a free, open-source VPN client for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux. olcRTC is the engine underneath it: an encrypted tunnel that travels inside a WebRTC video call, so that on a network which drops tunnels by their shape, what stays on the wire is an ordinary call. Both are developed in public at github.com/ghostlane-project.

Nothing in either is sold, and that will not change. Money given here pays for the work that keeps them going: development and review, the build machines and test relays every release has to pass through, devices and network access for testing, signing and developer program fees, and security work.

Open Source Collective holds the funds, and every contribution and every expense is public on this page. The rules, including the ones the maintainers follow when they are the ones being paid, are in FUNDING.md.
