If you are an ongoing monthly backer, then thank you for your continued financial support to Glasgow Mutual Aid. We have now closed the phone team, which is where people got in touch with us to ask for help. We decided to close the phone team after 3 years, because of volunteer availability, as well as the small number of requests and our ability to fully help people.

For people who are current financial supporters through Open Collective, we want to let you know what will happen with that. We are handing over the Open Collective account to our sister group Pollokshields Mutual Aid & Foodpoint (who we have worked closely with and who overlap with GMA). https://www.pollokshieldsmutualaid.org/

If you would like to continue donating, then your money will be used by that group to buy things like phone top-ups, groceries and other essentials, similar to how we spent it in the phone team. They cover Pollokshields and the surrounding area, including some of Govan. The funds will also be available for Glasgow-wide GMA volunteers to help with essentials.

However, we understand if you would like to cancel your monthly payment, please find instructions at the bottom of this email.
