The Story So Far
Building Goofre isn't a first attempt at creating something impactful; it’s the third. The previous two attempts—one aimed at helping hospitality professionals reclaim their space against aggregators, and another to help job seekers better showcase their profiles had mixed results. One failed, one stalled.
But both shared a single, unwavering core mission: empowering people. After spending 12+ years in the tech startup trenches specializing in Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and scaling zero-to-one infrastructure, a massive shift became impossible to ignore.

Goofre was born out of the need to push back. We believe that technology should help us create impact at scale, and that knowledge and wealth compound only when they are shared.
What We Are Building
Customers will soon stop browsing traditional websites and start asking AI agents to find and buy products for them. Goofre is an open-source Agentic Commerce Orchestrator™ (ACO™) designed to help developers and merchants adapt to this reality.
Instead of relying on closed-door, automated site builders, we are creating a layer of intelligence that connects Google’s highly efficient (but siloed) commerce stack Search, Chrome, Gemini, and Merchant Center—transforming it into an open-source, AI-native platform.

The Reality of the Hustle
Building an open-source standard from zero requires serious runway, patience, and grit. To keep this project independent, free from premature venture capital pressure, and completely focused on the developer community, Goofre is currently entirely bootstrapped.
Right now, the servers, the infrastructure, and the early runway are being funded directly from the driver's seat of a car. Taking shifts behind the wheel is what keeps the lights on and the codebase growing. It is a genuine, ground-up hustle to ensure this platform remains open and accessible for the people who actually build the web.
