About

The Great Northern Fruit Moot is an annual grassroots event dedicated to bringing together fruit growers, particularly those from Northern England, for a day of learning, networking, and the exchange of fruit tree scions.

First held in Bradford in 2023, the event quickly gained popularity, expanding in 2024 to Todmorden, 2025 in Manchester with 2026 in Sheffield. The 2027 event will be at St Sampson’s Centre in York on Friday 19 February.

Tickets will be released later in the year - In preparation, please do CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP to the mailing list so you don’t miss out on the opportunity. You’ll have a chance to tell us what you’d like to hear about on the day - and we’d be really happy if you forward it into anyone who you think might be interested.

All the best,

Fruit Moot 2027 Team
