About
Hargrave Hall Community Association is a registered charity (No. 1198834) dedicated to supporting and strengthening the local community in Archway, N19. We manage three community centres: Hargrave Hall, Harry Rice Hall, and Girdlestone Community Centre, providing welcoming, accessible spaces where residents can connect, learn, celebrate, and access services and activities that enhance wellbeing and community life.
Working alongside local partners, community groups, staff, and volunteers, we deliver and support a diverse range of programmes, events, and services for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our centres are home to educational activities, health and wellbeing initiatives, cultural events, community meetings, youth programmes, and social gatherings that help bring people together and reduce isolation.
As part of our commitment to the community, we make our halls available for hire at affordable rates, ensuring local residents, community groups, charities, and organisations have access to quality spaces for events, activities, celebrations, and meetings. By keeping our venues accessible and inclusive, we help create opportunities for people to come together and build stronger community connections.
We believe strong communities are built through participation, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. Through our centres, services, partnerships, and affordable venue hire, we are committed to ensuring that community spaces remain vibrant, trusted, and accessible resources for the people of Archway, both now and in the future.
