I don’t have private pharmacare coverage at the moment and I don’t qualify for the public drug benefit.
I had my hormonal IUD placed in 2019 when I was covered and I need to get a new one in 2024. It is $410 and I don’t have access to that amount of money in one go without some form of mutual aid or assistance. I obviously do not have the funds for a child if I am struggling with $410 so I’m turning to HogAid to make sure I won’t fall pregnant at this time.

Each individual can request £100 twice in a sixth month period, a rough outline of what you need it for is useful but we do not need specifics. "Living expenses", "travel" or "meds" or whatever is fine. This policy is open to review in the future, depending on circumstances and funds. If you make a request you will not recieve the funds immediately, money is sent three times a week. If you need money and are not in the UK, it will take longer.

How are expenses approved?
Collective admins are notified when an expense is submitted, and they can approve or reject it.
Is my private data made public?
No. Only the expense amount and description are public. Attachments, payment info, emails and addresses are only visible to you and the admins.
When will I get paid?
Payments are processed by the Collective's Fiscal Host, the organization that hold funds on their behalf. Many Fiscal Hosts pay expenses weekly, but each one is different.
Why do you need my legal name?
The display name is public and the legal name is private, appearing on receipts, invoices, and other official documentation used for tax and accounting purposes.
