About
Since Spring 2022, Home Growing has worked with the Athens Housing Advocacy Team and their partners in local government and the University of Georgia to collect and map public records on eviction filings in the county. Duties have included coordinating community volunteers, supervising undergraduate research assistants, and facilitating a partnership with the UGA Community GIS course for data analysis.
Funding for this work has come from the Athens Immigrant Rights Coalition, via grant from the Urban Institute. In Summer 2023, funding for this work will come from a contract with the ACC GIS Office.
