Our First Fridge has been delivered!
Published on April 14, 2021 by Tj Hobbs

We are so happy to be able to share this good news!

We have secured our first donated fridge! Thank you so much to the donor, thank you to their family member who made the journey to transport the fridge to our temporary storage, and thank you to the family who is temporarily storing the fridge until we are able to complete the building of a weather-proof fridge enclosure and accompanying dry storage.

Hope Fridge is our community in action, and we couldn't have done any of this without you!

We are now looking for donated or low-cost wood in Northeast Wisconsin for our first community fridge build. We will travel to pick up!

According to our professional builders who have generously donated their time and expertise to Hope Fridge, we are in need of the following at this time:

10 total sheets of 4X8 plywood

Either 1/2" plywood ($645 total if purchased new)

Or 3/8" plywood ($505 total if purchased new)

Please reach out if you have any wood to donate or if you know someone who does!

Thank you to all in our community who come together to make the world better for our human family. We're well on our way to beginning and soon completing our first community fridge build!
