We are thrilled to announce an exciting new way support the Humanitarian Changemakers Network! You can now contribute to our mission simply by recycling cans, bottles, and cartons through the Containers For Change program in Queensland (QLD) and other participating states.
How It Works
Containers For Change makes it easy for you to make a difference. For every eligible container you collect and recycle, you can help us fund our grassroots network. Hereās how your recycling will directly support our network:
Collect Your Containers: Gather all your eligible cans, bottles, and cartons. Most standard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible.
Visit a Drop-Off Point: Take your collected containers to a Containers For Change location in QLD or other participating states. Remember to keep all your recycling receipts!
Direct Your Donation: When you return your containers, simply specify the Humanitarian Changemakers Network as your preferred donation recipient. The scheme ID for our network will be provided at all participating locations.
Your Impact
For every container you recycle, Containers For Change donates 10 cents directly to our network. This tangible contribution adds up quickly and helps us continue our mission of empowering grassroots changemakers and supporting critical social projects. Ā
Mutual Aid Australia: Solidarity in Action
Weāre excited to announce that 5 cents from every can, bottle, or carton will be specifically directed to our collective, Mutual Aid Australia. This initiative ensures that half of all funds raised will go directly towards offering immediate support and solidarity to our community members when they need it most. Ā
How Your 5 Cents Helps:

Community Projects: Supports local initiatives that promote social justice, sustainability, and community well-being.
