International Digital Equity Alliance (IDEA)

International Digital Equity Alliance is a project supported by unconnected.org to bring a community together to connect 1 billion new people to the internet.  3.6 billion people have no internet access, impairing their ability to access education, freedom of information and speech, financial inclusion, access to trade and access to good work.  

The project focuses on connecting students and schools in the developing world with a strong focus on connecting young women and girls wherever we can.  We also work to ensure refugee children can continue education during periods of displacement.
