π Join Our Holiday Bug Bash and Help Improve Kavita! π
'Tis the season for giving back to the open-source community, and what better way to do it than by squashing some bugs together?
We're excited to announce our Holiday Bug Bash event for Kavita, and we're inviting all users, contributors, and enthusiasts to participate! There has a been a lot of changes to core systems within Kavita recently, almost too many to test reliably within the current release cycle. Help us record, identify and squash some bugs before the holiday season catches up to us!

π Goal: Β Uncover, identify, and resolve bugs before the holiday break!
π Why Join Our Bug Bash?
Contribute to Open Source: Make a real impact on the project you love and use daily.
Learn & Grow: Sharpen your debugging skills and gain experience.
Connect with the Community: Interact with fellow contributors and developers.
π― How to Participate:
Even if you don't know how to code you can still help identify bugs. We need plenty of testers to help shake out all the various parts of Kavita! If you run into behavior inside the program that is unexpected make sure to document it and open a bug report!
1. Document odd behavior: Open an issue in Github if you notice a problem when using Kavita. eg, CSS issues, translation strings, inconsistent behavior, functions not working as intended, etc...
2. Browse the Issue Tracker: Visit our bug tracker @ https://github.com/Kareadita/Kavita/issues to find a list of open issues tagged specifically for the Bug Bash. You'll find a variety of tasks, from beginner-friendly to advanced.
3. Claim an Issue: Comment on the issue you'd like to work on to let others know you're taking it. If you need help, ask questions β we're here to assist! (1/2)
4. Test & Debug: Follow the provided instructions to recreate the issue. Investigate and document your findings.
5. Submit Fixes: If you can, submit a fix for the bug or issue. Make a pull request and ensure that it meets the project's guidelines.
6. Review & Collaborate: Help others with their bug fixes, review pull requests, and provide constructive feedback.
