Showing component instance in cut list and cutting diagram

Having the option to have the instance name as well as the component name displayed in its own column in the cut list and labeled in the cutting diagram would be incredibly useful. Often my models contain several differently named and differently scaled instances of the same component and not having the instance name available means that when cutting I don't know what part they are.

Hi,

Uncheck the option Hide instance names in the global Options (https://docs.opencutlist.org/features/parts/options#hide-instance-name).

I get it in the parts list (in brackets) which is useful but would maybe be nicer in a separate column? But still not visible in the cutting diagram?

It's quite complicated to display instance names in cutting diagrams because parts could be splited on multiple sheets.
But if you print labels you can have one label per instance with its name.

Thanks for the reply, maybe the solution for me is to get a cheap label printer!
