About
Who we are
Lambeth Votes Palestine is a movement to encourage Lambeth voters to use their voting power to elect councillors who will support a pro-Palestinian agenda in the upcoming council elections (May 2026).
We aim to end Lambeth’s complicity in violence, oppression and the genocide being committed against Palestinian people.
We are a grassroots coalition of activists, citizens and people who demand a stronger response to Israel’s genocide. We aim to empower voters to have the information to vote tactically for candidates who will support a pro-Palestinian, progressive agenda. Our movement is born out of frustration with Lambeth council’s actions to suppress the pro-Palestinian voice, and our realization that only changing the people in power will truly end our council’s tacit support of Israel.
Our aims
Our overall aim is to that pro-Palestinian councillors are elected in Lambeth to enable a change in Lambeth’s Cabinet and decision-making.
Which will be achieved through:
• Building a coalition of pro-Palestinian activists, groups and networks
• Supporting the election of pro-Palestinian candidates in a minimum of eight wards
• Improving the accountability of elected councillors in general to Palestinian issues, including boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS)
