About
Ubuntu Clinic is decolonial people's clinic offering low-barrier access to compassionate, expert medical care for Black, Indigenous, immigrant, and queer communities in Los Angeles. The founder is an Indigenous, transgender/nonbinary HIV medicine and internal medicine specialist who is a steward and caretaker of evidence-based clinical knowledge. Their personal mission is to use this knowledge as one of many tools to empower patients to make the best choices for their own health.
Ubuntu Clinic offers medical care for people living with HIV, substance use disorders, and other chronic complex conditions along with providing gender-affirming care. Beyond medical care, Ubuntu Clinic addresses the root causes of health disparities through support for decolonial, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, prison abolitionist, and anti-gentrification movements.
