About
London for a Free Palestine, Shake the CIV and Queers for Palestine are proud to host a screening of short films as part of the Queer Cinema for Palestine 2026, a global film festival organised by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI).
Israel attempts to instrumentalise our identities as queer people to “pinkwash” its image while committing genocide against Palestinians. In response, we hold this event during Pride month to re-affirm that there is no pride in genocide. No-one is free until we are all free!
Additional event details:
- Doors will open at 6:30pm
- Film program available here
- BSL interpreting available if you need it - just email [email protected] to let us know!
- Venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Outside space available.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be split between:
- Al Qaws, a grassroots Palestinian LGBTQ organisation based in Jerusalem that is at the forefront of vibrant Palestinian cultural and social change, building LGBTQ communities and promoting new ideas about the role of gender and sexual diversity in political activism, civil society institutions, media and everyday life.
- Shake the CIV, a London-wide campaign to divest council worker pensions. More information about the campaign on Instagram @shaketheciv or on our website: https://shaketheciv.org/
