End-of-Year What's Update
Published on December 14, 2022 by Miguel Canales

Hey all, here's our year end update:

For the year we have mostly been in flux, working on ways to increase recruitment, engagement, and expanding to the wider community going into 2023. There have been bylaw proposals, considerations for other organizations we can fundraise for, seeking writers and artist to help revitalize our organization. The money was used mainly to pay vendors so that we had systems in place to work(Loomio, Zoom, etc.).
For this year the hardest challenge we've faced is retraction due to membership loss, burnout, and loss of interest that spurred us on to work on shifting things around to get members interested again and to draw more people with more options as to how they can help out whatever their capacity may be.
In 2023 we hope early on to be able to launch political education, more ideas/programs for community outreach work, and to better accommodate members where an official group doesn't currently exist.
