I recently learned that the Dental community have the same needs as the Medical community. I would like to unify both sides in the US by bringing advances in interoperability protocols such as FHIR and DICOM to small clinics and centers.
The EHR portion is relatively straightforward and complete. However, building the migration tooling for existing databases, developing a few items that are orthodontic in nature, and preparing a series of workflow configurations will take the majority of the time. We would like to put about 3 to 6 months towards this effort. We have a dental clinic willing to work with us to simplify the workflow. The only thing we are missing is your financial support!
