As we step into the autumnal chapter of 2023, MewsFeed continues to evolve, bearing the fruits of collective effort and constructive adaptation. Here’s an update on our journey through October:
1. Testing Cadence Adjustments: Our testing sessions will now transition from a bi-weekly to a monthly cadence. This shift aims to ensure that each session is rich with novel features, optimizing the value and engagement for our supportive community. We are immensely grateful for the consistent participation and the enthusiasm shared thus far.
2. TrustGraph Evolution at Newforum Hackathon: MewsFeed proudly participated in the Newforum Identity & Reputation Hackathon, showcasing our TrustGraph implementation. Zeke diligently worked on the code while Moritz and David crafted provisional UI patterns. We're in the stride of aligning these elements, and your insights are highly valued in shaping the forthcoming user interface.
Ultimately, we didn't win but we're glad that the hackathon pushed us to progress on the TrustGraph implementation.
3. Anticipating Holochain Stability: The quest for a stable Holochain environment to kickstart a long-lasting MewsFeed instance on Holo.host is ongoing. Our dialogues with the Holochain and Holo teams, both virtually and in-person, underline the urgency of robust code and infrastructure. We are optimistic about witnessing enhancements that align with our developmental pace.
