Please stay tuned for updates on when you can donate again; plus other ways to help

If you were a monthly donor, you will have already received notice that donations are on pause. This is because our fiscal host, the Open Collective Foundation, has shut down suddenly. (That is separate from this Open Collective platform, which is not going anywhere). We hope to be switched over to a new fiscal host by the end of next week, definitely by the end of the month.
We are blessed by your generosity and will be able to cover expenses until then.
Having to switch fiscal hosts is not more disruptive than Near North camp being destroyed, again and again and again, but it is another stressor.
Meanwhile, the city of Minneapolis has continued its campaign of violence against unhoused people anywhere within its borders.
Work to make a better world has continued, and you can help:

Work to make a better world has continued, and you can help:
- Gertrude Brown Community Land Trust! Gertrude Brown Community Land Trust is a coalition seeking to purchase public land and build an intentional community of microhomes in North Minneapolis to provide housing and community supports to unhoused people at no cost to residents. Check out more about our project and our full statement of purpose on our website: GBCLT.org
- Administrative work. There was already all sorts of paperwork we wanted to do, even just trying to keep phone bills paid, and this month is also the last chance to help people get stimulus checks, and now there's more.
- The fiscal host we are looking to go to does not have staff to be a full service fiscal host, but is trying to cobble together volunteers, new part-time staff, and pro bono expert advisors to up its offerings and capacity. If any of those are you, please contact [email protected]
- Documenting the huge amount of land and buildings and housing forcibly kept vacant by police and private security. Join this new effort here.
But mostly, thank you all greatly for all you already do.
