Natura Biarn is a small, community-based association in Béarn (southwest France) dedicated to reconnecting people with the living world. We create spaces where nature, art, and science meet, places to learn, observe, and celebrate the beauty and complexity of life. Our first major project, La Maison de la Nature, is transforming an old village building into a lively hub for nature education, creativity, and community, alongside a pedagogical biodiversity garden, a living landscape where native species reclaim their place and where we can learn from the rhythms of the wild.
Through initiatives like this, we hope to nurture curiosity, collaboration, and a shared sense of wonder for the natural world, here in Béarn and beyond.
💚 Your support helps us bring this vision to life - renovating the Maison, creating welcoming spaces for learning and exchange, and building the garden. Every contribution, small or large, helps the project take root.
You can support the project: 🌿 Here on Open Collective 🍃 or via our French platform, HelloAsso, for those comfortable with French or using auto-translate.
And you can find out more on our website (we're working on an English page, but for now you can auto-translate!):
