Niche is a sonic hangout: a space to experiment, perform collaboratively, and experience unique shows.

At the core of our “weird sounds laboratory” is the idea of testing: we’re testing new live sets, new tools, or how it feels to improvise with others; we test the limits of the soundsystem, and the ears of our audience ☺

We are playing b2b with new collaborators, and creating one-off ensembles with fellow noisemakers; we are taking risks and trying things out.

This is a niche, and if you feel like you belong, you do 🍄

After a string of beautiful Thursday evenings, a new format will be explored from September onward: a performance-oriented Saturday event, with a lineup of exciting guests, will take place monthly, alongside our open, jam-focused, free entry Thursday hangout.

The economy of the event will be as transparent as possible: we ask you to support the event according to your means, so that we can make it happen together.
We need to raise around £1400 (see budget).
