DECA will ensure your donations go to digital inclusion initiatives focused on access to the internet and devices, as well as digital skills programmes.
Your donation can make a real difference:
- $5 provides a pack of biscuits to share at a digital skills session for kaumātua (elders), creating a welcoming space for learning and connection.
- $39 supplies a basic 4G mobile phone to someone who would otherwise be cut off when 3G networks shut down later this year.
- $146 puts a refurbished laptop in the hands of a Year 9 student who can’t bring their own device to school.
- $500 covers the cost of a new Chromebook for a senior student, opening doors to future study and employment.
- $600 pays for 12 months of broadband for a household currently living without internet, unlocking access to work, training, health services, and connection.
- $1,000 funds a new Windows laptop for a senior student, enabling them to learn and create using tools like Photoshop, Pro Tools and other industry-standard software.
