About
Piki Kouras is a name combining "Pikiao," our local iwi, and "Kouras," representing coders. This
kaupapa will see students from Rotoiti and Rotomā (two small rural kura) come together to
participate in a coding competition that will stretch their thinking, build digital skills, and connect
them with the wider world of technology. They will work in teams to tell a story from our iwi -
Ngāti Pikiao, Te Arawa waka and showcase using robots.
