NOW – Start in the World of IT is a non-profit initiative dedicated to helping beginners gain real-world IT experience through practical projects, teamwork, and mentorship. Your contributions directly support our mission to provide free access to IT education and career development opportunities.
How We Use Donations
All collected funds are used to sustain and expand our initiative, covering essential areas such as:
🔹 Technology, Website & Tools
- Developing and maintaining an online learning and collaboration platform.
- Covering costs for essential tools like project management, design, and development software.
- Ensuring platform security and long-term sustainability.
- Building partnerships with companies and NGOs to provide real-world projects for participants.
🔹 Mentorship & Specialized Support
- Engaging IT professionals as mentors to guide participants in real-world projects.
- Providing career coaching, psychological support, and networking opportunities.
- Offering English language courses to help participants apply for jobs in international IT companies.
🔹 Community Growth & Outreach
- Expanding outreach to reach more displaced individuals, war-affected families, and veterans.
- Establishing partnerships with NGOs and companies to create more opportunities for participants.
🔹 Operational Costs & Administration
- Managing legal, financial, and administrative aspects to ensure the sustainability of the initiative.
- Coordinating real-world projects between participants and external partners.
- Overseeing platform development, mentorship programs, and overall growth.
Our Commitment to Transparency
We are committed to financial transparency and accountability. All contributions are publicly tracked on our Open Collective page, ensuring that donors can see exactly how their support is being used.
Non-Profit Nature & Restrictions
- NOW is a non-commercial initiative. All educational content and participation are provided free of charge.
- If at any point we introduce paid services (such as workshops, specialized consulting, or sponsorships), we will transition to a legal entity.
- While hosted on Open Collective Europe, we do not engage in selling services.
