About

Welcome to the Empowering Emergency Communications: New Packet Radio and Go Box Deployment in Thailand project! Our mission is to enhance disaster preparedness and response in Thailand through innovative communication solutions. Supported by a grant from the Amateur Radio Digital Communications (ARDC), we are deploying New Packet Radio (NPR) technology to ensure reliable communication during emergencies.

Our project focuses on training 500 amateur radio operators across Thailand and equipping them with 50 portable "Go Box" units, which can be quickly deployed in disaster-affected areas. These NPR-powered communication kits will provide internet connectivity and enable coordination during critical moments when traditional communication infrastructures fail.

At the heart of this initiative is the belief that robust, resilient communication systems save lives. By empowering local communities with the tools and knowledge to maintain communication during emergencies, we aim to strengthen Thailand's disaster management capabilities and improve national resilience.

Stay connected with us as we work together to build a safer future.
