Dear Esteemed Donors,

We are thrilled to share the impactful feedback from participants who recently attended the NVC training “SOCADIDO Stakeholder Workshop on Addressing Gender-Based Violence(GBV)”. The workshop, which focused on the powerful intersection of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and combating negative social norms contributing to gender-based violence, received resounding praise from attendees.

Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage in dialogue, reflection, and action towards preventing and responding to gender-based violence. Through interactive activities, group discussions, and real-life case studies, they learned how NVC can be a catalyst for challenging harmful convictions and social norms and fostering a culture of respect, equality, and empowerment.

The feedback highlights the transformative nature of the workshop, with participants leaving with a deeper understanding of how Nonviolent Communication can drive positive change in addressing gender-based violence. Policymakers also noted the value of exploring alternative strategies for creating policies that meet societal needs.

Your support is crucial in enabling SOCADIDO to continue conducting such impactful trainings that empower communities to stand united against gender-based violence and uphold the rights and well-being of all individuals. Together, we can create a safer, more equitable society for everyone.

Thank you for considering supporting SOCADIDO's important work. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Warm regards,
 Olari Proscovia Ruth
