Greeting Okionu supporters, I hope you are all well.
In 2023 Okionu Birth Foundation had many opportunities to learn, grow, and engage our community.
Some highlights include:
Launching our 'True Wisdom Postpartum Circles' in Dallas, TX from January to April 2023
Securing product and service sponsors for our family care packages w/ Mele bebe', Fit Tribe Wellness, and local therapy partners
Moving into our West Coast Maternal Wellness and Innovation Hub (Grand Opening coming soon!)
We provided group therapy to BIPOC postpartum families.
We provided in-person and delivered meals to BIPOC postpartum families
2023 brought in an opportunity to practice what we preach and to take a moment to recalibrate our team and strategy. Nourishment, Stillness, and Healing are tenets we encourage each family to exercise, mid-year it was our turn to do so.
