What did you accomplish during 2023? How did you use money?

In 2023, OpenPrivacyTech achieved key milestones by launching a new logo and brand guidelines. We focused on strategic planning and mission-driven initiatives, utilizing various resources to support these endeavors. Although we faced challenges with grant applications, our commitment to advancing privacy technology remains unwavering, motivating us to refine strategies for future success. 

What challenges did you face during 2023? What did your Collective learn? How did you change or grow?

Throughout the first half of 2023, OpenPrivacyTech encountered the challenge of expanding its community and raising awareness by developing essential resources. The Collective recognized a notable gap in knowledge regarding privacy-enhancing technologies within the broader industry and academic institutions. We did not have any activities in the last quarters as the founder joined another fiscal host and had limited availability.

 
What are your plans for 2024? Anything exciting coming up?

In 2024, we're making big plans at OpenPrivacyTech! We want to rethink and improve our programs and strategies. To do this, we're thinking to bringing in more volunteers and seeking grants to support our organization. Plus, we plan to relaunch our website and guides to make things better for everyone involved. Exciting times ahead!
