'Sup people!


This week I took a bit of time off, so there is not so much to update. Main update SOCIALS ARE STARTING BACK UP!!!! So see you all there Thursday :


This week:

- Caught up with lots of the team

- Data strategy: we need to look at unintended bias in the data

- Organising the hackathon 23rd Nov

- Finished adding baselines to new study-online-misogyny

- We are planning to collaborate more with FrauenLoop after attending

- Decided on a fiscal host to apply for -> Open Source Collective

- Matteo is going to give a lightning talk at PyBerlin...thanks MG!

- CT is going to give a talk at Django meetup London...Wuenderschoen cherry! :

Coming up:

- Meeting with CS tomorrow to discuss product design with greater transparency

- Data strategy talk on Tuesday

- Design evaluation scripts

- Topic Modeling from MP! Woo

- Catch up with a few more members of the team

- Writing a up tasks and chatting to people about working on them!


Help needed

- Stars on github, please ask anyone you know with a github account to star us https://github.com/opt-out-tools/opt-out .... why? If we get 100 stars, we can join the Open Source Collective Fiscal Host and receive funding

- Linguists: we need linguists to help us identify dialects in our dataset, if you know of any that would be interested....msg me!

- We need GDPR help for the website, anyone know of anyone

- We also need social media help, anyone have any ideas let me know!
